Help Support Carter’s Crew

We invite you to support your Garden Crossings team (Carter’s Crew) in the “Walk For A Cure” to help raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Online donation can be made at the JDRF website!

Each participant’s motivation to walk is a story they are quick to share. It may be for themselves, a love one or a friend, ours is for CARTER, our Son.

Carter is eleven years old and has been living with diabetes for 7 years. We thank the Lord daily for his health and the ability to keep his diabetes under control. He is still poking his finger 6 or more times a day to get his blood sugar level. He has an insulin pump that doses the insulin and helps eliminate need for a shot for everything he eats, although, every bite that goes into his mouth has to be counted and registered in the pump to give him the correct amount of insulin. We hope to see the day that he no longer needs this as his life support.

With your generous donations, JDRF is in the process of finding a cure. The question is no longer ” Will there be a Cure?” but “When will the cure be available for human use!”

We would Love Your Support In a Cure for Diabetes!

On September 14, our family and friends will be walking at Ah-Nab-Awen Park in Grand Rapids to raise money to find a cure for diabetes. Last year we had 26 people join our walk team, together we raised over $8,200 for JDRF!!! That would not have been possible without the generous donations from you, our family and friends!
