(Petunia) We are excited to announce the first petunia in the Supertunia® Hoopla™ series, Vivid Orchid™. The unique bi-color blooms of this Supertunia® have gotten a lot of attention in our landscape. The bright pinkish-purple blooms are framed with a white border. Throughout the summer we have noticed the border being more pronounced on some flowers than it had earlier in the summer giving an even more interesting look to this flower. Bred for their excellent garden performance, Supertunias® are easy to grow and require no deadheading to keep them looking fresh all summer long. Grown in full sun to part sun locations, Supertunia® can be grown in planters or in the landscape. Supertunia® Hoopla™ Vivid Orchid™ grows up to 12 inches tall and can spread to 24 inches wide creating a perfect mounding habit. Enjoy the butterflies and hummingbirds as they visit your garden. We recommend a continuous-release fertilizer when they are planted and water-soluble fertilizer once a week. Feed Them, They’ll Look Fabulous! Supertunia® Hoopla™ Vivid Orchid™ may benefit from an occasional haircut. We recommend trimming one-third of the plant as needed to promote additional branching resulting in more flowers.

Vicki G –
Absolutely glorious. I planted two in a pot with Miracle Grow potting soil and two in the landscape, with a bit of Osmocote slow release fertilizer. Both places are doing well. I’ll be using this one again next year.
