Ageratum are tough, old fashioned annuals that bloom from late spring until frost. Enjoy powder puff blooms that attract pollinators and do not require deadheading to look their best. Although Ageratum like to be planted in full sun, they will tolerate part shade and thrive best with well drained, evenly moist soil with fertilization every one to two weeks for best performance. Ageratum are great in containers, grow from 8-12″ tall and wide and are zone 9-10 hardy. Note: Ageratum is toxic to grazing animals.
