(Gerbera Daisy) Add a pop of bold red color to your garden with Joybera Red Gerbera! This gerbera daisy features large, 4-inch red flowers with brown centers. These flowers stand tall atop sturdy stems, and the dark green foliage beneath compliments the color of the blooms. At times the foliage can grow dense enough to where the new buds are shaded from the sunlight, because gerbera daisies grow best in full sun, you may need to trim the foliage back to expose the new buds to sunlight. Joybera Red Gerbera can reach a maximum height of 14-16 inches and it is recommended to space 12-14 inches apart. Grow as a mass planting in your garden, as a specimen plant, or in a container for a bright display. Gerbera daisies in the Joybera series bloom longer and more often than traditional gerbera daisies. With these daisies, you will have color through the spring and summer. Joybera Red Gerbera is often grown as an annual in most zones, however, it may perform as a tender perennial for those in zones 7-10.
