(Globe amaranth) Looking to add a funky, fun new annual to your garden or container designs? Lil’ Forest Plum Gomphrena is a real head turner! Standing 14-18 inches tall, Lil’ Forest Plum adds an airy splash of color to your garden designs. Gomphrena produce flowers from early summer through the fall, the hotter the better! The flowers of Lil’ Forest Plum are a deep plum color, with a straw like texture. The foliage is very airy with a tall stem that holds up the flower. Gomphrena Lil’ Forest Plum is a great filler, that mixes well with just about any combination of flowers, we recommend mixing with Salvia, Coleus and Superbena just to name a few. Planted in full sun, this garden jewel will not only be a attraction, but will attract butterflies. Lil’ Forest Plum Gomphrena is compact in size, making this a fine choice for containers, borders or just about anywhere you need a ‘spot’ of color. Gomphrena make a great cut flower for indoor enjoyment.
