It can be enjoyed as an evergreen year-round in warmer zones (9-11). However, those in colder zones can still enjoy this beautiful plant as an annual or by bringing it indoors to overwinter. If you choose to overwinter indoors, place the plant in direct sunlight. It may lose its leaves, but no need to worry, they will flush back out again in the spring once the plant returns outdoors.
