It is drought tolerant and heat tolerant once established, and has light watering requirements. Plant in areas that receive full sun exposure (6+ hours each day). Geraniums do require deadheading once the blooms are spent in order for it to rebloom again. We also recommend feeding your annuals weekly with a water-soluble fertilizer during the season.
