The 6-7\" wide flowers of this hibiscus are bright white and do not have the characteristic red eye that Hardy Hibiscus have. A light pink blush appears on the back of each petal near the edge. Compact and sturdy, Summerific® 'Cookies and Cream' Hibiscus grows 2 ½-3 feet high by 3 ½-4 feet wide and is a long-blooming variety covered in flowers along the stems from top to bottom. Hibiscus do best in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. 'Cookies and Cream' can be placed in a part shade location, but full sun is necessary to bring out the darkest foliage color. Hardy in zones 4-9, this hibiscus is one of the last perennials to emerge from the ground in spring, so be patient. We recommend cutting the Hibiscus back in early spring before the new growth appears.
