(Hosta) Hostas are great plants for city landscapes where pollution may be prevalent. Hosta ‘HANS’ is an easy to grow hosta for full to part shade locations. ‘HANS’ grows 21 inches tall and spreads up to 32 inches wide. Hosta ‘Hans’ is a sport of Hosta ‘ANDREW’. ‘HANS’ features heavily puckered, folded, corrugated leaves that are white in the center, deep green edges with a lighter green blending of the two. Early to mid summer, fragrant, light lavender flowers emerge, attracting hummingbirds to the garden. Hosta ‘Hans’ is a nice selection for borders, mass plantings and container gardens.
