Our team loved this plant when we saw it in the trial gardens, and we are excited to include it in our offerings! This unique foliage plant features thick leaves with white and green stripes which give it an almost zebra-like appearance. It grows in a trailing habit, making it the perfect spiller for your containers. Pair it in container combinations with bold red flowers for a contrasting look, or with other foliage plants for a textured appearance. Pistachio™ White Tradescantia can grow a height of about 6-12 inches, and can spread about 12-36 inches. It grows best in indirect light and part shade. It should get some sunlight in order for the foliage to appear more vibrant, but it cannot handle too much sunlight. When watering, it is recommended to water underneath the foliage so that most drops get into the soil and not on the foliage. Water consistently throughout the season and feed weekly with a water-soluble fertilizer. Feel free to also trim it back if it starts to get too leggy.
