Collection: Rose of Sharon - Hibiscus - Shrubs
Rose of Sharon plants are at home in any garden. These hard-working shrubs bloom during the heat of the summer, adding much needed color in the mid level of the garden, above blooming annuals. Rose of Sharon shrubs are in the hibiscus family, and have the same colorful trumpet-shaped flowers of tropical hibiscus, only these shrubs are hardy to zone 5. If deer are a problem in your area, Rose of Sharon plants are a must-have. They grow best in full sun and well drained, moderately-moist soil. Birds and butterflies love the flowers!
