When Will My Order Ship?

This chart gives a guideline for when we start shipping in the spring. Once your zone is past, we ship those orders weekly. On your order confirmation it will state your estimated ship week. We ship Monday - Saturday in April and May. As we get into the summer and fall months we ship Monday - Wednesday.

What Carrier Do You Use to Ship

Orders are shipped out via FedEx ground or home delivery.

Can I Choose a Specific Date for My Order to Ship?

Unfortunately, we do not have an option to pick a specific ship date/day. You will be assigned a ship week. Depending on the time of year, we ship Monday - Saturday (in our busiest months). Our goal is to have orders arrive by the weekend if possible. We start by shipping further destinations first and work our way through to closer destinations.

Where Do You Ship To?

We are able to ship to the continental 48 states and the District of Columbia. Some plant exclusions may apply if they are restricted in your state.

What Plant Sizes Do You Carry?

How Tall Are Your Shrubs

It does depend on the variety, but in most cases our 1 quart shrubs are shipped around 6” tall. We trim them every 2 weeks. Trimming encourages more branches for a fuller plant that produces more flowers. There are some exceptions for certain plants that can’t be trimmed.

 

Our 8” Pot/ 1 gallon shrub height will depend a little on when the plant ships. If shipped early in the season it may be around 8-10” tall, where a bit later in the spring a bit taller. We do go through and trim our gallon shrubs as well to encourage more branching. A fuller, well branched plant is more important to the plants health than a plant that is in flower.  

Will My Order Arrive With Blooms?

It may… but we do not guarantee that your plant will arrive in bloom. Some variables include: did it just get trimmed, has it already bloomed for the season, is it still young and hasn’t produced it flowers yet.

Why Were My Plants Trimmed Before Shipping?

We like to say that our plants get the most care in the industry. We are constantly caring and maintaining our plants to make sure you have the best quality plant on the market. We go through our greenhouses every 2-3 weeks and trim plants as needed. We trim our plants to encourage a fuller, better branched plant. The result is a nicer shaped plant with more branching which results in more flowers.

What Should I Expect Once My Plants Arrive?

Unpack them immediately, water them and let them set in a shady area for 24 hours. We encourage you to have your plants planted within 3 days of arrival. Plants do better planted than sitting in their pots.

Return FAQs

Do You Take Returns

Due to the nature of our business, we do not accept returns on live plant material. If you should have a concern with your shipment we encourage you to take a couple of photos and contact us within 24 hours of the arrival of your shipment. Upon receipt of the images, we will decide on if we would like you to plant the plant in the ground and follow-up with us in a couple of weeks or if replacements should be sent or store credit given.
