Supertunia Vista® Cool Jazz™ Petunia
- Mounding Habit,
- Prolific Spreader,
- #1 Plant Series
Description
(Petunia) Supertunia Vista® Cool Jazz™ is a striking annual petunia that delivers a soft orchid-pink bloom across an impressively vigorous canopy. Designed as a color expansion to the Vista line, Vista® Cool Jazz™ matches Supertunia Vista® Jazzberry® in vigor, habit, and size but with a gentler, cooler pink tone.
This sun-loving petunia reaches 12 to 24 inches tall with a spread of 24 to 36 inches, forming an upright, mounding, and slightly trailing habit ideal for garden beds or large containers. It blooms abundantly from planting until the first frost, offering continuous flowering without the need to deadhead.
Cool Jazz prefers full sun to part sun exposure and does best in well-draining, average to fertile soils. It tolerates heat and humidity well, a trait expected in the robust Vista series. The floriferous display of Supertunia Vista® Cool Jazz™ attracts butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden.
As with other Vista varieties, a controlled-release fertilizer at planting sets a solid foundation. For container use, you may supplement with water-soluble feed every 1-2 weeks throughout the season. Occasional trimming (up to one-third) paired with fertilizer can rejuvenate a tired plant and encourage branching and reblooming.
In landscapes or containers, Supertunia Vista® Cool Jazz™ delivers elegant pink color, long blooming performance, and pollinator appeal with ease.
