(Hen & Chicks) Chocolate and a Kiss, a perfect combination. Mix Chocolate Kiss™ with any of our must have Chick Charms® for the perfect container combination. Chocolate Kiss™ is a must have in your Chick Charms® collection. Big on color as well as appearance, Chocolate Kiss™ forms a large rosette that is a deep burgundy brown color. Standing 2-3 inches tall and spreading up to 12 inches wide, Chocolate Kiss™ is a great addition for rock gardens, wall plantings, borders, ground covers as well as for patio planters. Chick Charms® are a drought tolerant, evergreen perennial that is hardy in zones 4-9 and grows well in full sun to light shade. Chocolate Kiss™ consists of one large rosette (the "hen") and many smaller rosettes (the "chicks") which can be pulled up and replanted elsewhere to start new plants. Heidi G. They can be planted Spring - Fall. For zone 7 I would recommend planting as late as September.
