(Tall Phlox) We are excited to introduce more additions to the “Garden Girls” series of Tall Garden Phlox. ‘Glamour Girl’ has been one of the best performers in my garden with its excellent color and disease resistance. Now we offer ‘Cover girl’ a beautiful purple phlox with white halo centers. ‘Cover Girl’ has shown excellent disease resistance in the hot, humid Michigan trials. Standing 38-42 inches tall, this Tall Phlox creates an upright mounding habit that spreads to 28 inches wide. Hardy in zones 3-8, ‘Cover Girl’ blooms mid to late summer with an excellent rebloom. Planted in full sun to part shade locations, Tall Phlox is a long-blooming perennial. This native perennial attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and is pollinator-friendly. Planted in mass or as a specimen in the garden, Phlox ‘Cover Girl’ is fragrant and is great for cutting and bringing indoors.
