Description
Onion chives have a tube shaped stem that is topped with a lilac pom pom flower. Chives are a great addition to vegetable and flower gardens standing 12 to 18 inches tall and are a very versatile herb to use in the kitchen. Chives have a delicate onion flavor and are a great garnish for seafood, salads, and soups. Chives prefer to be grown in a full sun location but will tolerate light shade. Harvest chives all summer long. Hardy in zones 3-10
