Description

(Rose Mallow) Plant breeding just keeps getting better, a perfect example is Hibiscus SUMMERIFIC® 'Holy Grail'. Dark flower and foliage paired together and here we have SUMMERIFIC® 'Holy Grail'. Standing 48-54 inches tall and 54-60 inches wide, the near black foliage creates a great contrasting backdrop for the 8-9 inch, deep scarlet red blooms of SUMMERIFIC® 'Holy Grail'. This indeterminate bloomer produces flower from midsummer until the fall with what I like to call "tip to toe" flower coverage. Hardy Hibiscus are a native perennial that resist deer and attract hummingbirds. This long season bloomer prefers to be planted in full sun locations but can handle some part shade. Grow in soil that is moist and well drained is what we recommend. SUMMERIFIC® 'Holy Grail' is sure to create some talk so place it in a prominent area in your garden so you can show it off. Hibiscus SUMMERIFIC® 'Holy Grail' is a PROVEN WINNERS® Perennial. Growing note: Hardy hibiscus will be one of the last plants that you will see emerge in the spring. Often times here in Michigan we do not see the sprouts until early June. Be patient, once the sprouts emerge the plant is fast growing.

My hibiscus was mailed on June 17th and looked like it was half dead/wilted. I called and the nice lady said to plant it and see how it was in two weeks. My goodness...we have had days of 85-100 degree temperatures for weeks, and it loves it and is growing like crazy. So happy with the quality of this company and Proven Winners.

Holy Grail Hibiscus plant arrived in such healthy condition! It took to the soil immediately and has new growth after one week! I look forward to the red flowers one day!
