Description

(Million Bells) A refreshing treat in the hot summer sun! Superbells® Grape Punch™ Calibrachoa is a beautiful addition to the Proven Winners® line of Superbells® and one of our best sellers. The flower size of Superbells® Grape Punch™ is large for a Calibrachoa, measuring 1 1/2" wide. The dark purple petals fade out to a lighter purple color with a bright yellow eye. The mounding trailing habit of Superbells® Grape Punch™ makes this a great selection for hanging baskets and planters. The abundant flowers can trail up to 48" long! Superbells® like to be in well drained soil for best performance. Fertilize every week to ensure abundant blooms and superior growth. If your Superbells® are looking a little tired, just give them a bit of a trim, and this will rejuvenate them by creating new growth and increased branching.

Looking lovely in pot on my patio

One of my favorites Superbells each year. I love the large blooms.

As soon as the danger of frost passed for Zone 6, I planted these as part of a plant trio in each of two large pots. We had a very dry summer, but with regular watering, Grape Punch thrived in a sunny location with afternoon shade. The plants bloomed continuously until a heavy fall frost. I trimmed them slightly halfway through the summer, but they are self-cleaning. This is a low-maintenance, great performer! I'm reordering for spring planting.
