Collection: Zone 7 - Perennials

What Defines USDA Hardiness Zone 7?

This USDA Hardiness Zone features a long growing season and mild winters, with extreme seasonal temperatures ranging between 0°F and 10°F. It's found across pockets of the Pacific Northwest and Southwest, as well as a continuous belt stretching from Texas through the Mid-Atlantic and southern New England. Tip: Use our Hardiness Zone Map to verify your zone.

These mild conditions make zone 7 ideal for a vast array of both full-sun and shade perennials. Whether you’re looking for ground cover or designing your landscape’s borders, well-informed selections will enhance your gardenscape. Choose drought-tolerant coneflowers for areas with direct sun, or lean into the lush foliage of hostas and colorful coral bells for your shaded nooks. Remember to consider the microclimate, like nearby structures or protective tree canopies, to ensure your Zone 7 perennials perform year after year.
