Description
(Barberry) As its name implies, Sunjoy Fast Neo® Berberis gains its brilliant red color more quickly than its popular brother variety - Sunjoy Neo®. It also has a more fierce red appearance. Growing in a neat, naturally rounded shape, it can reach a height up to 5 feet and a width of 4 feet. It makes a wonderful addition to the landscape as a specimen plant or as a border or foundation planting. Sunjoy Fast Neo® Berberis grows best in full sun and in well-drained soil. However, it can also grow in clay soil and it can tolerate less moisture once established. It is not recommended to hard prune your barberry, but it can be trimmed as needed. The best time to trim is late spring/early summer. You won't have to worry about deer eating the foliage off this plant as it is deer resistant. Hardy in zones 4-9, Sunjoy Fast Neo® Berberis is a bright addition to your landscape or garden! Sunjoy Fast Neo™ Berberis is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.
