Description

(Bush Cinquefoil) Time to smile! Happy Face® Orange Potentilla provides lovely orange blooms all season long, even in the heat of summer! The blooms of Happy Face® Orange open a deep orange color in late spring and will fade to a lighter orange during the hotter days of summer, but will never lose that coloring as some potentillas do. This native, hardy, compact shrub is drought and salt tolerant, very deer resistant, and attracts pollinators. Hardy in zones 2-7, Happy Face® Orange grows 1 ½ - 2 ½ feet high and 2-3 feet wide making it a great edging or border plant. Adaptable to most soil conditions, except continuously wet ones, Happy Face® Orange performs and flowers best in full sun, but can tolerate part shade. We recommend a good trimming in late winter or early spring and every couple of years remove up to one third of the oldest branches which will rejuvenate the plant. Happy Face® Orange Potentilla is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrub. Note: Flowering may slow down in periods of hot weather, especially in warmer zones.

I purchased 3 plants and 2 of them are doing just fine, but I don't think one will make it.
