Description

(Gerbera Daisy) If hot pink is your jam, you've got to give Joybera Pink Gerbera a try in your garden! Large, vibrant daisy-like flowers adorn this plant and stand tall on sturdy, upright stems. Each bloom is about 4 inches in diameter and has bright hot pink petals with a thin ring of white around its brown center. Dark green foliage with ruffled edges cover the bottom of the plant and complements the bright flowers nicely. Gerbera daisies grow best in full sun, and if the foliage underneath the plant gets too dense, it can be trimmed back to expose the new buds to the sunlight. Gerbera daisies in the Joybera series have larger flowers, bloom longer and more often than traditional gerbera daisies. Joybera Pink Gerbera can reach a maximum height of 14-16 inches, and it is recommended to space them about 12-14 inches apart. It performs as an annual in most zones, however, it can act as a tender perennial in zones 7-10. If growing as an annual, we recommend feeding your plant once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. Grow your Joybera Pink Gerbera daisy as a specimen plant in the garden, as a mass planting, or in a container.

I received my plants, and they were in great condition. I have to harden my plants before I place them in my western exposure garden bed, and they took to the process better than any plants I have had in some time. Last week I planted them in the garden and they are already blooming and looking fantastic. I am amazed how hardy and beautiful they are in my zone 8B western-exposure bed. It's like they are saying, bring it on. Thanks, Garden Crossings, for offering these healthy beauties.
