Description
(Columbine) A welcome sign to spring is the blooms of the columbine flower. One of our favorite Aquilegia is the Kirigami™ series. Kirigami™ Red &, White boosts large, upward-facing blooms with red outer petals and white inner petals. This prolific bloomer is covered with flowers for several weeks in the late spring or early summer. Standing 22-24 inches tall and up to 24 inches wide, this mounding perennial is sure to make an impact in the garden. Hardy in zones 4-9, Kirigami™ Red &, White likes to be planted in full sun to part sun locations with moderate to moist soil conditions. These rabbit-resistant perennials attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and pollinators to the garden. Native to North America, Columbine makes a great addition to woodland gardens, container gardens, and full-sun gardens. Plant as a specimen or in mass mixing the Kirigami™ series for a colorful statement in the garden.
