Description
(Hosta) If BIG hostas are what you are looking for, look no further than Hosta Shadowland® 'Wu-La-La'! Making its presence known in the garden or landscape, it reaches foliage heights of 3-4 feet tall and up to 4 feet wide. Early to midsummer flowerscapes emerge up to 5-6 feet tall holding light lavender bell shaped flowers. It is a sport of the popular Shadowland® 'Empress Wu' hosta. 'Wu-La-La' features deep blue foliage edges with bright green margins. The leaves are heavily corrugated with a thick substance. Hardy in zones 3-9, it likes to be grown in part shade to full shade locations. This native perennial likes to be grown in moist well drained locations. 'Wu-La-La' tends to be a slower grower, taking up to 5 years to get to size. The more moisture you provide, the quicker it may grow. Hosta Shadowland® 'Wu-La-La' is a Proven Winners® Perennial.
