Description

(Rudbeckia) Rudbeckia Sunbeckia® 'Ophelia' is a graceful and softly colored annual that brings a gentle glow to sunny gardens. Unlike the bolder tones found in other Sunbeckia varieties, Ophelia features large, daisy-like blooms in a warm, buttery-yellow hue with delicate creamy undertones. The petals surround a smaller, dark cone, offering a refined contrast that adds elegance to garden beds, borders, and containers. Each flower can reach up to 6 inches wide, blooming continuously from mid-summer into fall.

Sunbeckia 'Ophelia' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It grows to a compact 18–24 inches tall and wide, forming a tidy, mounded habit perfect for small gardens, patio planters, or mass plantings. Its sturdy stems support the large blooms, which also work beautifully in cut flower arrangements.

This variety is deer and rabbit resistant, moderately drought tolerant once established, and highly attractive to pollinators like bees and butterflies. With minimal care just deadhead to encourage reblooming Ophelia delivers soft beauty, strong performance, and reliable seasonal color.
