Yuki Cherry Blossom® 2.0 Deutzia
- Spring Blooming,
- Tidy Habit,
- Fall Foliage Color
Description
(Deutzia) Yuki Cherry Blossom® 2.0 Deutzia, a charming, compact flowering shrub that brings a soft pink cloud of blooms to your garden each spring. Hardy in USDA Zones 5–8, this improved variety stays neat and petite reaching only about 1–2 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide making it perfect for edging, mass plantings, or as a low accent in garden beds.
Mid - spring, it's covered in clusters of delicate pink and cream flowers that create a beautiful, airy display above tidy green foliage. The blooms appear on burgundy-colored stems, which add extra contrast and interest even after flowering. As the season shifts into fall, the foliage often turns rich burgundy-purple, adding another layer of seasonal color.
Yuki Cherry Blossom ® 2.0 has a dense, mounded habit that naturally helps suppress weeds by shading the ground beneath it. It's deer resistant, low maintenance, and requires very little pruning to keep its shape. Like other deutzia, it blooms on old wood, so if shaping is needed, trim it just after flowering. Plant it in full sun to part sun with well-drained soil for best results. With its long-lasting beauty and easy care, this updated variety delivers dependable spring color and graceful form year after year. Yuki Cherry Blossom ® 2.0 is a Proven Winners® Color Choice Shrub!
