Stunning indigo blue flowers emerge up to 3 weeks earlier than 'Cat's Meow' and flower from 'tip to toe' creating a full mound of blooms. When the flower has faded color remains! The calyxes glow with a pinkish purple hue, or if you wish, cut the plant back for a wonderful reflush of blooms throughout the season. As with all Nepeta, 'Cat's Pajamas' is fragrant and deters the rabbits and deer. Hardy in zones 3-8, Catmint likes to be planted in full sun locations and is drought tolerant. Watch the butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds enjoy the sweet nectar. 'Cat's Pajamas' is a great choice for borders, walkways, or planted in mass. Planted this last year and I was real pleased with this. All who saw this plant wanted to get it for their gardens. It didn't go crazy and take over. Went well with the new bleeding heart.

I have grown several varieties of catmint, including "Cat's Meow", which I recommend also, but I love the compact size of "Cat's Pajamas". You can tuck it into the smallest spot for a wonderful burst of long-lasting color. The blooms covered the plant from top to bottom for a very long time. Love this plant!
