Colorblaze® Velveteen® Coleus
- Intense Color,
- Great in Combos,
- Interesting Texture,
Description
(Coleus) Color does not always have to come in the form of flowers. Here we introduce, Colorblaze® Velveteen® Coleus. Coleus are a great addition to combination planters. The soft velvet looking foliage of Colorblaze® Velveteen® coleus has bright magenta foliage edged in burgundy. The heavily serrated leaves add great texture to combination planters. Standing 24 to 36 inches tall, Velveteen® makes a great thriller in combination planters. If you prefer a shorter, bushier look, you can trim your coleus back at any time. The Colorblaze® series has been bred to flower late in the season or not at all so your plants stay their fullest and nicest looking all season long. If a flower is forming, we recommend pinching it off although some people do enjoy the flowers. Velveteen® is deer resistant and attracts hummingbirds.

Reviews
Nice plant and has grown well so far this spring.
It is the perfect combo with pink impatiens and creeping jenny, in a manger basket.
