- Loads Of Blooms,
- Drought Tolerant
Description
(Coneflower) Echinacea 'DoubleDipped Jamberry' is a standout in the DOUBLE DIPPED® series, featuring lush, fully double cones that glow in rich orange hues. These expansive flowers, about 4½ inches across, sit atop well-branched stems that hold them upright with ease. With a mature height of 22–26 inches and a spread of 20–24 inches, it's beautifully suited for mid-border placement or patio containers. This North American native thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil, hardy in zones 4-8. Once established, it becomes quite drought tolerant and low maintenance. The long-lasting summer blooms attract bees and butterflies, and the sturdy flower heads are ideal for cutting and drying. Even after the blooms fade, the seed heads offer architectural interest and winter food for finches. The foliage forms a tidy, dark-green mound, which enhances garden structure and longevity. Blooming from mid to late summer, and repeating with proper care and deadheading, 'Jamberry' delivers reliable color into early fall. Deer-resistant and compact, it's an elegant, dependable addition for any pollinator garden or landscape.
