Description

This quartet of Southeastern natives keeps color and texture coming from the first days of spring into fall. 'Storm Cloud' Amsonia leads off with near-black stems emerging in early spring, followed by periwinkle-blue, star-shaped flowers that pair beautifully against the lemon-yellow spires of Decadence® 'Lemon Meringue' False Indigo blooming right alongside it. Totally Stoked™ 'Riptide' Stoke's Aster bridges the gap between early and late summer with bold, periwinkle-blue blooms that make an excellent cut flower. 'Touch of Blush' False Sunflower closes out the season with semi-double yellow blooms over white-and-green variegated foliage tinged in pink, flowering from summer all the way into fall.

Built for full sun and hardy in zones 5-9, this native, drought-tolerant combination keeps bees and butterflies visiting from spring through fall.
