(Bugleweed) Feathered Friends® 'Pleasant Pheasant' Ajuga features stunning shades of golden yellow, coppery orange, and chartreuse green. The foliage of this evergreen ground cover provides excellent texture and glowing color to shady areas and sets off the cobalt blue blooms that appear in spring. This one's just right!

I have a shady spot where I wanted something low in the front. First I bought a purple leafed form. It's happy, but invisible unless you are standing over it. Then I bought a form that has cream colored variegation. Much more visible, but it's hardly growing. In desperation, I planted this golden form, and it's just right! You can see it from far away, and it's growing vigorously. Whew! It's only problem is it's being chomped on by earwigs, but I am getting some sluggo plus which should take care of the problem.
