'First Frost' Hosta

It also shows good slug resistance. The deep, rich, blue-green centers of the leaves are edged with a gold margin in the spring that matures to pure white. Light lavender flowers are produced on 28 inch scapes in midsummer and they attract hummingbirds to the plant. ‘First Frost’ will add color and interest to your part shade to full shade garden and is also an excellent choice for use in a mixed container planting. ‘First Frost’ grows well in most soil types with average to moist conditions.
