Hollywood Hibiscus™ Rico Suave™ Tropical Hibiscus

(Tropical Hibiscus) Brighten up your garden with Hollywood Hibiscus™ Rico Suave™! This tropical hibiscus features large, bold yellow blooms with bright red centers and ruffled edges. These blooms stand out amongst deep green foliage and will appear on the plant for up to 3 days. Tropical hibiscus blooms continually from spring until the first frost, and its blooms attract hummingbirds. Its foliage is evergreen in warmer climates, and the plant itself is hardy in zones 9-11. Colder zones can still enjoy the beauty of this hibiscus by growing it as an annual or bringing it indoors for the winter. When bringing it indoors for the winter, place it in an area that receives direct sunlight. Also note that it may lose its leaves while indoors, but that they will flush back out again in the spring once it is brought back outside. Hollywood Hibiscus™ Rico Suave™ can reach a height of 60 inches and a width of 48 inches. It grows best in full sun, and it blooms on new growth, so it can be trimmed back once the blooms are done for the season. We also recommend fertilizing your tropical hibiscus once a year in the spring with a continuous release fertilizer.
