Description

(Peruvian Lily) This sweet petite Alstroemeria will be a great addition to any garden bed or container. INCA LUCKY® Alstroemeria has creamy white petals with a pretty salmon-pink throat. The trumpet shaped non-stop flowers are held on sturdy stems lined with lance-shaped deep green leaves. INCA LUCKY® is considered a micro Alstroemeria reaching 8-12 inches high by 14-16 inches wide. This long-blooming beauty will perform all season until the first frosts. A tender tuberous perennial in zones 7-10, INCA LUCKY® Peruvian Lily can be grown as an annual in colder climates. Place in a full to part sun location in moist, well-drained soil where it will bring non-stop tropical beauty to the front of the border or containers. It cannot tolerate wet sites as too much water will lead to root rot. INCA LUCKY® is an excellent cut flower that is long lasting in the vase, so make sure to bring the show indoors! The INCA® series of Alstroemeria are power house bloomers and performers and we offer many of the colors available, so be sure to collect them all!

Zone 7 way colder than usual

I planted this beautiful Peruvian Lily in a sunny location in my garden last year. It grew and bloomed all summer. I had hopes of it returning this year; but the past winter was way too cold for our Zone 7. So I ordered several this year, to once again enjoy a summer of blooms and maybe this winter will not be so brutal and these will return next year. Keeping my fingers crossed.
