Description
(Clematis) Clematis 'Mayleen' is a charming beauty with small satin pink flowers in early summer. The fragrant vanilla-scented blooms are lightly ruffled and have a contrasting center of green stamens. Blooming for four weeks or more, the flowers of Clematis 'Mayleen' are beneficial for pollinators. The attractive bronze-tinged foliage of 'Mayleen' creates interest all season. A vigorous growing cultivar in the Montana family, 'Mayleen' is not as cold hardy as large flowering hybrids. Hardy in zones 6-9, a harsh winter could affect the plant. Winter mulch is recommended. Flower color may vary due to environment.
