Solera™ Orange Zonal Geranium (Pelargonium)

Geraniums have been loved by generations of gardeners throughout history for their bright display and adaptability. Solera™ Orange keeps this timeless look going with vibrant orange/red flowers. These flowers stand tall amongst scented, green foliage, and they form a globe-shaped cluster giving this plant its distinct shape. This geranium can reach a maximum height and width of 12-14 inches. Its compact and mounded growth habit makes it the perfect size for containers or hanging baskets. This series of geraniums is also well known for its resilience and performance in the landscape. It is drought tolerant and heat tolerant once established, and has light watering requirements. Plant in areas that receive full sun exposure (6+ hours each day). Geraniums do require deadheading once the blooms are spent in order for them to rebloom. We also recommend feeding your annuals weekly with a water-soluble fertilizer during the season.
