Summerific® 'Cookies and Cream' Rose Mallow (Hibiscus)

(Rose Mallow) Stunning and sweet describes Summerific® 'Cookies and Cream' Hibiscus. With its highly contrasted dark black foliage and pure white blooms, 'Cookies and Cream' will be a focal point in the summer garden border. The 6-7" wide flowers of this hibiscus are bright white and do not have the characteristic red eye that Hardy Hibiscus have. A light pink blush appears on the back of each petal near the edge. Compact and sturdy, Summerific® 'Cookies and Cream' Hibiscus grows 2 ½-3 feet high by 3 ½-4 feet wide and is a long-blooming variety covered in flowers along the stems from top to bottom. Hibiscus do best in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. 'Cookies and Cream' can be placed in a part shade location, but full sun is necessary to bring out the darkest foliage color. Hardy in zones 4-9, this hibiscus is one of the last perennials to emerge from the ground in spring, so be patient.
