Coming to life with color

All the plants went to ground at the same time and the majority of them are going for it. A few are feeling it out and a couple have died out. For the few that didn’t make there are too many variables to pinpoint the cause. They arrived exceptionally packaged for the trip. I was hesitant to put them in ground right away because of the approaching cold snap on the forecast. That decision proved to be the right one. All are about the same height at about 6 to 8 inches in height. Since the temperature has started improving and getting warmer the bubblegums have started to wake up and put on a little color display.

I purchased one single vista bubblegum at Garden Crossings in June. By the end of the summer the little gem, which I planted in the landscape, grew to 3 feet across! This is truly a showstopper and great performer! Lovely garden center, too! Highly recommended this sweet pink plant
