This is a unique variegated sport of golden Briant's Rubidor' and burgundy 'Naomi Campbell'. Like many variegated plants, occasional reversion may occur to all black. Grown mostly for its foliage, it does have a light cycle of red-pink blooms in the spring. Growing 3-5 feet tall and wide, VINHO VERDE® is a deciduous shrub that is hardy in zones 5-8. Adaptable to most soil conditions, including clay, Weigela is an easy-to-grow shrub. The unique foliage makes this a beautiful addition to the landscape.
