Buckthorn - Rhamnus - Shrubs

Add texture and shape to your landscape with buckthorn. In spring and summer, lacy dark green fern-like foliage lends a wispy element to the garden. In fall, the foliage turns yellow as added interest. Buckthorn performs best in full sun to part shade, and will grow 5 to 7 feet tall and up to 2 feet wide. This deer resistant columnar thriller works wonderfully in containers, as a privacy hedge or a vertical focal point.
