AquaPots® Lite Insert

Create self-watering containers out of your own existing ones with the AquaPots® Lite Insert by Proven Winners®.  The AquaPots® Lite Insert is available in four sizes:

• Small Round - 11 in. wide x 7 in. deep, holding 1.3 gallons of water.
• Medium Round - 13.5 in. wide x 7.63 in. deep, holding 2.9 gallons of water.
• Large Round - 18 in. wide x 12 in. deep, holding 6.8 gallons of water.
• Medium Square - 14.37 in. wide x 8.27 in. deep, holding 2.9 gallons of water.

The inserts will fit most containers and must be used with ones that have a drainage hole, otherwise plants will become waterlogged. Simply set the appropriate-sized insert down into an upright container.  

The AquaPots® Lite Insert has many benefits including water efficiency, less potting soil usage, constant access to fertilizer for the plants, and time savings, as you will only need to water approximately once a week.  We do recommend that you check your containers every few days to ensure that the soil is moist, especially mid to late season as plants have grown and their root systems have matured.  At this point you may need to refill the insert more frequently.  The AquaPots® Lite Insert kit is easy to use, clean and re-use for many years, making container gardening even more enjoyable and successful!
