After 3 years in my mixed shrub garden it was a pleasure to give it a hard prune this winter to shape it up, remove older stems to keep it all red and fresh looking, and use the pruning to do some "winter gardening" in containers with greens. And still plenty left to enjoy against the backdrop of snow.

Such a great addition to the garden. It is especially good for the moist areas in our yard. Of course, it makes a great winter feature—and provides perfect for winter containers.

Great winter feature plant. Looking forward to having more of these in my yard this year. Vibrant colors stand out in the white snow.

Beautiful Bush

I bought this plant in April 2011. It has grown into a beautiful bush. Green throughout the summer. In the fall, the leaves are green and turning red, perfect for autumn. Last winter the red stems against the snow was very pretty. I highly recommend this plant and Garden Crossings for a great buy and beautiful plants.
