Standing 8-10 inches tall and up to 16 inches wide, 'Astra Blue' Balloon Flower blooms nearly all season long starting in early summer and blooming through late summer. Hardy in zones 3-9, Balloon Flower like to be grown in full sun to part sun with average to moist soil. The flowers are very pretty. They are also very delicate, need to supported and do not hold up well with all of the rain that we have been having in the North East United States. Had I known that they were so delicate, I would not have purchased them.
