With blooms up to 50% larger than other Geum, 'Blazing Sunset' produces beautiful reddish-orange flowers from early summer into mid-summer. Standing up to 24 inches tall and spreading 19 inches wide, they also form an upright mound for color. The fuzzy green foliage forms an attractive mound and with the airy flowers dancing in the breeze, Geum is a perfect filler for middle garden borders. Hardy in zones 5-7, it likes to be grown in full sun to part sun locations with fertile soil. This fast-growing, deer-resistant, perennial attracts butterflies and hummingbirds in the garden.
