Reviews
Lovely with lots of blooms. Planted in two areas - morning sun & afternoon sun. Both are doing well, especially since we have had so much rain. Trippled in size. Planted with Veronica and Nepeta.
This will depend on where you live. In most places this will go dormant for the winter, the rain or snow should be enough moisture for it.
It is doing well. I have to protect it from the hottest time of day until it gets acclimated but there are new stems every day. How often should I water it over the winter?
This is a top-notch, long blooming perennial. It doesn't require staking if you tip pinch it in April and May, which will make it bushy and more floriferous. The only drawback I've experienced is that it is not super drought tolerant. But I don't mind giving it a drink a few times a week during the summer months. Very eye-catching, partnered with Veronica 'First Love' and Gypsophila 'Bristol Fairy'.
