Description
(Globe Thistle) Add a little whimsy to your garden by adding Echinops 'Blue Glow'. Bright purple, spiky spheres appear early summer through late summer. The deep green foliage is heavily serrated with a silver sheen. 'Blue Glow' stands 3-4 foot tall and spreads up to 2 foot wide. Hardy in zones 3-8, Echinops prefers full sun to part sun locations and does well in average and poor soil conditions. Echinops 'Blue Glow' has a texture that the deer and rabbits will avoid. This drought tolerant plant is a nice selection for borders, planted in mass or used as a specimen. Cut a few stems for indoor enjoyment!

Tammy /.Z.4. This is a fun flower to have in the garden. The blue globe shaped flowers are beautiful and attract a lot of bees & butterflies. I have even seen a few hummingbirds checking them out.
