- Adorable Miniature,
- Lavender Flowers
Description
(Hosta) Hosta ‘Blue Mouse Ears’ is an adorable miniature hosta with thick, round leaves that look like little mouse ears. The leaves are blue-green to gray-green in color and they form a perfectly symmetrical mound. In addition to its beautiful foliage, lavender, bell shaped flowers appear abundantly in midsummer. Its flowers attract bees and hummingbirds, making it a great pollinator plant for your garden or container. Hardy in zones 3-9, this hosta likes to be grown in part to full shade, and stands 8 inches tall, as well as 12 inches wide. As a smaller-sized variety, ‘Blue Mouse Ears’ is the perfect hosta for small spaces or in front of the border of your garden or landscape. It can even be used in a mixed container to enjoy close-up on your porch or on your back deck. This hosta grows best in moderate to moist soil conditions, and can handle clay soil. ‘Blue Mouse Ears’ is a must have plant for hosta collectors.
