Description

(African Daisy) Enjoy the bright bubblegum pink daisy blooms of Osteospermum Bright Lights™ Pink all summer long. This heat and humidity tolerant African Daisy starts blooming early season and blooms well into the fall. Typically Osteospermums slow down on blooms once the summer heat kicks in, that is not the case with the Bright Lights™ series. Standing 8-12 inches tall and spreading to 12 inches wide, Bright Lights™ Pink Osteospermum is a great selection for in the garden as well as planted in combination in planters. Planted in full sun to part shade locations, Bright Lights™ Pink is easy to grow and requires no deadheading. We recommend planting in an area that has excellent drainage, Bright Lights™ do not like their "feet" wet. Plant in mass as a border or in container designs for a long blooming mass of pink daisy flowers.

these are my absolute favorite plant! I can not get enough, I get the cutest tiny clear vases to see the beautiful green stems through that look great against the white and light pink edges. They look fantastic from the curb and last nicely in a vase. The more blooms you cut, the more you get. They bloom all summer long. I am excited this year to see how soon they come up! I live in zone 5B so we have a very late blooming period with hard frost gone and annuals going in no earlier than July 1 and into august and sometimes September. It can be pretty cold at night even on the days it gets really hot. Im right by Lake Michigan so it is WINDY. The tend to dance and not fall over, I love that they look like they're waving at you with a bright blueish center. If I could only have one plant, Itd be this! One of the oldest favorites, you won't regret this. Lastly, I've noticed a bit of color difference depending on sun exposure and fertilizing. In different spots, it can be a lilac pink in less sun and brighter pink with deeper blue in the center! I NEED more :)
