Description

(Trumpet Bush) Chicklet® Gold Tecoma brings the beauty of a trumpet vine into a compact long blooming shrub form, growing 3-6 feet high by 2-4 feet wide, and is non-invasive. Also known as a Trumpet Bush, Chicklet® Gold Tecoma boasts abundant and fragrant bright yellow trumpet-shaped blooms that will attract scores of hummingbirds and pollinators. Hardy in zones 8-11 Trumpet Bush is grown as a landscape shrub or container specimen in the south. Northern gardeners can treat Chicklet® Gold as an annual and bring a tropical flair to their deck and patio containers. Trumpet Bush is happiest in full sun land well-draining soil. It can tolerate moderate drought once established. It blooms on new wood, so prune in early spring after the plant has leafed out if desired. Chicklet® Gold Tecoma is also deer resistant and is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.

The blooms on this shrub stop people in their tracks. I've had neighbors ask about this shrub. At only 4 weeks in ground, it blooms constantly in zone 9b. Yellow matches Texas primrose. Highly recommend
