Description

(Perennial Salvia) The Color Spires® collection is growing and also glowing, with Indiglo Girl in the mix. Salvia Color Spires® Indiglo Girl stands 20-22 inches tall and wide, creating a perfect flowerful mound. In late spring to early summer a plethora of spikes emerge with large, indigo blue flowers. The dark green foliage creates a beautiful backdrop to the blooms. Hardy in zones 3-8, Color Spires® Indiglo Girl prefers to be grown in a full sun location. Perennial Salvia is a great pollinator plant for attracting hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. The fragrant flowers and foliage have a pleasant scent, but not a scent rabbits and deer enjoy.
